Pack & Box EV Calculator

Should you rip this or resell sealed? We compute the expected dollar value of pulls (per-rarity pull rates × current TCGplayer market prices) and compare to spot. Negative delta means reselling sealed wins.

Ripping math methodology

For each rarity tier in the set, we look up the average current TCGplayer market price across all cards of that rarity (live via Pokémon TCG API and Scryfall). Multiply by expected count per pack (from pull-rate seed). Sum across rarities = expected pull value per pack. Multiply by packs per box, subtract current spot.

Pull rates default to BETA · seeded — hand-transcribed from public box-break data. See methodology for the broader data-provenance model.
