Methodology
We score each play 0–100 across five components: profit potential (40 weight, log-scaled), ROI percentage (25 weight, capped at 100%), market depth (15 weight, 30+ comps = full credit), pop velocity (10 weight, negative velocity wins), and liquidity floor (10 weight, sub-$500 raw scores higher).
Eligibility filter: min net profit $50, min ROI 30%, min sample size 5 in the trailing 90 days, no cards with >75% pop velocity in the last 30 days. Cards that fail are listed with reason in our database — only eligible ones rank here.
Raw prices come from PriceCharting loose comps (manual seed, refreshed weekly Phase 1 → eBay Browse API Phase 2). Graded comps come from eBay sold listings, 90-day median per grade. Grading economics use service-tier defaults from our methodology page.
